If you have a leak, your Flume device will notify you via a text message, push notification and/or an email. However, in the event of a leak, your Flume device will not shut off the water for you. Systems like this do exist, but they are costly and difficult to install.

The vast majority (99%+) of leaks that we detect are low flow leaks. These leaks are typically related to running toilets, leaky irrigation valves, water softeners, pool auto-fills, etc. With these types of leaks, it is not necessary to shut off the water. In fact, if these small leaks are detected and fixed early, they don't turn into big, costly leaks down the road.
